A 6 month secondment opportunity has arisen for a IT support assistant within the Pharmacy Aseptic Service.


The post holder will also help producing reports and analyses using various data sources available to support decision-making and to comply with legal requirements, will support the maintenance and development of various IT systems in the pharmacy aseptic unit and will support the IT training to the relevant staff.

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our team to support the aseptic pharmacy team with IT improvements and developments, including transitioning from outdated IT systems to new ones, manage interconnectivity of different systems and improve the use of IT for stock control and worksheets with the aim to improve efficiencies, increase the capacity of the system and reduce drug wastage:

  • To assist in the development of aseptic worksheets in Aria
  • To assist in transitioning from Prepmaster to Aria in a safely manner
  • To assist in the development of Ascribe to fully implement its use in aseptic by:
  • Creating and developing drug templates
  • Implementing automatic reordering
  • Establish and develop safe and accurate stock control to help reduce out of stock and drug wastage
  • Implementing and developing batch dispensing
