This is an opportunity for someone passionate about marketing to make their mark in what is a rapidly growing technology company leading the way in workforce management for construction.

Working alongside two experienced marketers with varied backgrounds across general/digital marketing and PR/communications, the role will provide exposure to varied marketing activities, with scope for personal development and progression as the business grows.


This is a hybrid role, combining home working with days working from the Biosite head office in Solihull (West Midlands) - two days per week minimum, ideally Monday-Wednesday.


Main responsibilities and tasks (with support from the Marketing & Communications Manager and Digital Marketer)

  • Coordinate and facilitate marketing activities across markets (UK, US, Sweden, plus other locations including wider Europe and UAE) e.g. campaigns, content creation, social media, digital (web, automation), communications, event support, product literature, sales assets, translations, branding, etc.
  • Maintain marketing schedules and document/communicate activity across markets, keeping internal stakeholders informed
  • Support the Digital Marketer with social media activity, facilitating content creation, scheduling/posting and reporting (an interest in video production is beneficial)
  • Assist with marketing metrics reporting
  • Support communications activity, including external (customer stories, PR) and internal (e.g. newsletters)
  • Facilitate employee engagement activities (company events and initiatives)

Key working relationships (internal and external)

  • Reporting to the Marketing and Communications Manager to ensure marketing activity across markets is effectively managed, deployed, reported on and communicated
  • Working closely with the Digital Marketer to support digital activity primarily social media and marketing metrics, with scope to be involved in other areas/projects, including international website development and CRM/marketing automation
  • Working with the sales teams to facilitate activity and the development of sales assets and content
  • Developing relationships with other key internal stakeholders to build knowledge and understand business processes (e.g. Product team, divisional team at ASSA ABLOY)

Person Profile:
Essential qualifications, experience, knowledge and behaviours


  • Excellent organisational skills ability to manage multiple projects at a time and manage time appropriately by understanding and prioritising workload
  • Willingness to learn / ability to get stuck in and work within a fastpaced environment
  • Experience in a marketing role managing multiple projects and activities and/or a recognised marketing qualification and alternative experience managing multiple projects and activities
  • Confidence to contribute ideas and suggestions to improve the effectiveness and performance of marketing activity
  • Ability to establish relationships and be proactive in managing tasks independently, keeping internal stakeholders updated
  • A keen collaborator and a team player, with an ability to also work autonomously

Desirable

  • Experience in a B2B marketing environment
  • Recognised marketing qualification
  • Experience managing social media accounts
  • Interest in and flair for content creation (copy and video)
  • Familiarity with and knowledge of marketing (traditional and digital) methods and channels (particularly social media)
  • An understanding of / interest in the latest marketing trends and their role within a B2B environment
