Housing Officer - TXM Recruit are looking for a Housing Officer to work with a leading provider of social housing and services who work closely with the local authorities and housing associations around Peterborough.

Salary - £25 - £28k based on Experience.

  • Hours 9am to 5.30pm


The key roles for the successful Housing Officer will include; supporting tenants with their initial check in right up to the point they move out of the house.

You will oversee the physical condition of the properties and work with other departments to deal with any maintenance issues.


Some duties listed below;

  • Regular tenant visits
  • Adhoc and scheduled inspections
  • Reporting maintenance issues and check on third party work.
  • Deal with complaints from customers and clients
  • H&S inspections
  • Liaising with the utility department and giving meter reads.

  • 74 Properties
  • 15 Flats (1&2 beds)
  • 55 Houses
  • 4 HMOs

Desirable Skills / Qualifications

  • Chartered Institute of Housing National Practitioner level 3 or willingness to attain.
  • Experience working within the temporary accommodation sector.
