Machine Operator

Pay Rate:
£11 starting rate


Hours: 7am - 4:30pm Mon - Fri (Early friday finish)

Comton Group are pleased to be recruiting for an experienced Machine Operator on behalf of our manufacturing client in the heart of Kingswinford.


This position will suit any enthusiastic individuals looking to develop any current experience within the industry.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Operation of machinery such as slitters, hot rolling machinery and more
  • Understanding engineering drawings
  • Working with variety of Metals
  • Ensuring maintenance of equipment
  • Working as part of a close team

Skills/Experience desirable:


  • Experience within the engineering industry

Operation of machinery (Preferably steel cutting machines) is essential to be considered for this role_

  • Ability to read basic Engineering Drawings
  • Able to travel to Kingswinford
  • Ambition and desire to grow & progress within the company

Job Types:
