Quality Controller

£12.15 per hour + Overtime rising to £12.70 per hour after passing probation

Are you a
Quality Controller from a manufacturing background or similar looking to step into a 4 day week, Monday to Thursday working 06:00 - 16:00 as the Mechanical Engineer you perform inspections on random samples in production, identify defects in the manufacturing process, record and report them.

This company manufacture a variety of products for the construction sector. With the range of equipment, you will gain a versatile skillset, making no day the same.

They have lots of expertise supplying into multiple different markets and are currently experiencing substantial growth due to increased workload.

The Role:

• Inspecting and releasing final products
• Inspecting incoming raw materials
• Working to ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 requirements
• Carrying out inprocess quality inspections and audits
• Identifying and reporting nonconformities

Attention to detail is essential:

• Experience of working in manufacturing environment.
• Understanding of technical drawings (desirable).
• Understanding of ISO 9001 and ISO 1400
• Computer literate experience using Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
• Experience of using manual measuring equipment
• Vernier's, Protractors, Micrometres (desirable).

£25,272.00-£26,520.00 per year
