We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Barback to join our bar team. The Barback plays a crucial role in supporting bartenders and ensuring the smooth operation of our bar area. This position is essential for maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient bar service, ultimately contributing to exceptional customer experiences.Key Responsibilities:

Bar Setup: Assist bartenders in setting up the bar for service, including restocking glassware, utensils, and supplies.

Ingredient Preparation: Prepare garnishes, ingredients, and mixers to ensure efficient drink preparation.

Glassware Maintenance: Collect and wash glassware, ensuring they are polished and ready for use.

Beverage Replenishment: Replenish and rotate stock of bottled and draft beverages, as well as alcoholic and non-alcoholic options.

Cleaning and Organization: Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including wiping down surfaces and disposing of waste.

Guest Service Support: Collaborate closely with bartenders to fulfill drink orders promptly, ensuring a seamless guest experience.

Cash Handling: Handle cash transactions and provide guests with accurate change and receipts.

Event Assistance: Assist with event setup and cleanup, as needed.

Safety and Sanitation: Adhere to all safety and sanitation guidelines, promoting a safe working environment.
Requirements:

Previous Experience: Previous experience as a barback or in a similar support role in a bar or restaurant setting is preferred but not mandatory.

Proactive Attitude: Display a proactive attitude with the ability to anticipate the needs of bartenders and maintain a well-organized bar.

Physical Stamina: Possess the physical stamina to stand for extended periods, lift heavy items, and move quickly in a fast-paced environment.

Attention to Detail: Have attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining cleanliness and order in the bar area.

Team Player: Exhibit strong communication and teamwork skills, collaborating harmoniously with bartenders and other staff.

Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
