The Shakespeare Birthplace Trust is looking for a self-motivated and ambitious Marketing and Communications Assistant to play an active role in delivering an exciting and varied multi-disciplinary marketing and communications strategy.
Reporting to the Senior Marketing Officer and Senior Communications Officer and working closely with the Marketing, Communications and Audiences team, you will lead on developing our social media activities, ensuring that audiences and stakeholders are updated, engaged, informed, and entertained with our activities and initiatives.
You will also support the team in the delivery of a range of marketing campaigns and communications outputs, including raising the profile of the Trust, campaigns to drive visitors to the Shakespeare family homes and supporting our learning and audience engagement programmes.
About You
This role is perfect for someone with an interest in marketing and communications who wishes to develop their skills from the ground up.
Experience of marketing and communications in a museum, arts or leisure attraction setting is of interest to us. Knowledge of the works of William Shakespeare is also of interest to us but not essential.
