Job Title:
Powder Coater

Location:
Widnes, United Kingdom

Responsibilities:


  • Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and masking as required
  • Ensure highquality finishes by monitoring thickness, texture, and appearance of coatings
  • Operate and maintain equipment in a safe and efficient manner
  • Maintain a clean and organised work area
  • Adhere to safety and quality standards at all times
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to meet production goals

Requirements:


  • Previous experience in powder coating or a related field
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and instructions
  • Familiarity with various types of powders and coatings
  • Proficiency in using spray guns and other powder coating equipment
  • Strong attention to detail and quality
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
  • Willingness to work flexible hours as needed

Key skills:

  • Manual degrease and surface preparation
  • Conversant in setting the powder gun to appropriate to the work piece.
  • Operation and setting of box oven/s
  • Have a keen attention to detail. Responsible for checking their own work.
  • Wet Spraying experience is an advantage but not essential.
  • 38 1⁄2 hr week Mon Thurs pm Fri noon.

Salary:
£11.67-£12.31 per hour


Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Widnes, Cheshire: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

Industrial Painting: 2 years (required)
