My client based in Letchworth is a family-owned and operated design and manufacturing Company, specialising in high quality displays and fixtures for the retail and hospitality sectors.

We are looking to recruit 2 x experienced Production Operative to join our assembly/production team on a temporary basis to provide an efficient and quality focused service.


Main Duties:

  • To complete tasks set by the Assembly Supervisor/Managers/Directors
  • To pick parts for production and check the quality of the parts/products prior to assembling
  • To assemble parts/materials using power tools
  • Mechanical build and assembly of new products for retail units following diagrams and schematics
  • Ensure work area is kept clean and tidy ready for the next shift/project
  • Be aware of health and safety issues whilst on shift.
  • As and when directed by a manager, undertake any other tasks set.

Person Specification:

  • Must be able and have had experience of using power tools
  • Ability to follow instructions
  • Good Communication skills
  • Awareness of Health and Safety.

Hours:
Monday to Thursday 08.00 to 16.30 and Friday 08.00 to Day shift
