About the role
Due to company growth; we are looking for a Technical Production Manager.

Based from their Birmingham office you will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end delivery of all physical build and technical elements of our projects.


This will involve planning and arranging technical requirements and kit, managing production sites, on-site teams and suppliers and ensuring that all health and safety and quality requirements are met.


Key responsibilities include:


  • Taking a client brief and planning the technical requirements such as staging, lighting and sound that are required to deliver the project
  • Producing quotes and agreeing budgets
  • Carrying out site inspections
  • Sourcing, briefing and management of suppliers
  • Managing project budget
  • Production of onsite schedules
  • Management of Health and Safety across the project delivery
  • Project reconciliation

About you

  • Experience in an AV or technical role, likely gained in an AV company or events agency
  • Proficient in design software such as Capture and WYSIWYG
  • Good knowledge of audio systems, LED screens, projectors
  • Experience of logistics, power requirements, method statements
  • Thorough understanding of budgets and reconciliations
  • Selfmotivated with excellent communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work well in a team
  • Ability to use initiative to solve problems
  • Comfortable dealing with clients at all levels
  • A willingness to travel and work flexible hours is also required
