We are currently seeking a highly experienced professional with a strong background in real estate to lead our property management operations as the Head of Operations.
As the Head of Operations in Property Management (Commercial and Residential), you will be responsible for overseeing and optimising all operational aspects of our diverse property portfolio.
This role presents an exciting opportunity to lead a high-performing team, drive excellence in property management, implement new strategies and leverage your real estate expertise.
Key Responsibilities, include but are not limited to:
Team Leadership:
Lead and inspire a team of property managers, leasing agents, maintenance personnel, and administrative staff, ensuring their performance aligns with our operational goals.
Client Relations:
Establish and maintain strong relationships with property owners, tenants, and commercial clients, ensuring their needs and expectations are met or exceeded.
Leasing and Tenant Relations:
Manage the leasing process for residential properties and commercial spaces, including tenant relations, conflict resolution, and delivering top-tier customer service.
Property Management:
Implementing processes to ensure inspections are carried out as required, identifying maintenance needs, safety concerns and opportunities for improvement.
Maintenance Management:
Oversee maintenance activities for both commercial and residential properties, ensuring they are well-maintained, secure, and compliant with regulations - managing service providers and suppliers as required.
Financial Management:
Monitor budgets, financial performance, and expenditures, aiming for profitability and adherence to financial objectives.
Compliance and Regulations:
Stay informed about property management regulations, both commercial and residential, and guarantee full compliance across the portfolio, ensuring our property management software is maintained with relevant and up-to-date information.
Reporting:
Prepare and present regular reports and insights to senior management and property owners, utilising data-driven recommendations for improvement.
Technology Integration:
Explore and implement innovative property management software and technology solutions to streamline operations
Qualifications:
- MIRPM Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in business, real estate, or a related field (Master's degree is a plus).
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in property management with a strong real estate background ideally in project management
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
- Proficiency in property management software and technology tools.
- Nice to have: experience using Arthur as a project management tool.
Salary:
£95,000.00-£100,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
Experience:
- Property management: 5 years (required)
Licence/Certification:
- MIRPM Qualification
