Part-Time, Permanent

25 hour per week, 5 hours per day, 5 days per week

Office-based in modern working environment

Salary £25,000 full-time equivalent (based on 37.5 hours per week), plus company benefits including BUPA and pension contribution. Free onsite parking.

NET LED Lighting is a manufacturer and distributor of commercial LED Lighting to UK electrical wholesalers and has a reputation for providing outstanding customer service.

We have an opportunity for an experienced part-time credit controller to join our enthusiastic Finance Team based at Swavesey, Cambridge.

Your daily duties will include:

• Sales Ledger administration duties, including posting customer remittances to Sage 200 accounting software, dealing with queries on remittances, sending copy invoices and credit notes to customers and responding in a timely manner to any customer queries;
• Checking customers' credit and approving or denying credit limits, as guided by the company;
• All adhoc accounting functions to assist the accounts team, including administration duties, such as opening and distributing the post and answering the phone for the Finance Department and dealing with enquiries.

Qualifications and experience must include:

• A minimum of 2 years working in credit control;
• A basic understanding of accounting principles;
• Intermediate "Excel" modelling skills;
• Experience of Sage 200 Accounts Packages desirable but not essential.

Skills required:

• Excellent telephone manner and communication skills;
• Good Excel ability is necessary, along with accurate numeracy and attention to detail;
• Enjoy working on your own, or as part of a team, building strong working relationships;
• Comfortable operating in a fast paced, entrepreneurial environment.
