We are currently seeking a Trials Management Officer to join our friendly and exceptionally talented Capability Development Team.

The role will be reporting to the Head of Flight Trials and will be contributing to all aspects of the Capability Development's Trials process, varying from project and customer management, to bid writing and even business development.

This will predominantly be based at Doncaster alongside the Capability Development's Part 21J Organisation and will involve flying from Humberside.

Occasional travel to other company sites and client locations will be required, along with the requirement to work weekends when necessary.

It is important to note, support to Trial's activity may take place from any company location and deployed locations to meet customer requirements.

The role's key responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

• Knowledge of aviation practices, preferably both civil and military
• Ability to communicate at all levels and intelligently support other team members at meetings with clients, with the inclusion of senior military and Government staff
• Hold or be eligible to obtain a UK security clearance
• UK CPL (A) MEP IR or B200 type rating
• A demonstrable knowledge of military aircraft systems and their employment
• Experience in project management, or similar support function experience within a fast paced and rapidly changing aviation environment
• Good IT skills, including the ability use Microsoft Office
• Bid-Writing, customer support and building of relationships in multiple business areas
• Emotional intelligence, resilience, and motivated team player
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
• Knowledge of flight trail's philosophy and best practices
• Experience in Risk and Safety Management
• GD Aerosystems Course graduate or engineering equivalent
• Understanding of multiengine turbine and multiengine piston operation
• A demonstrable knowledge of Part 21 and Part 145 regulations or a willingness to undertake training to become competent in these areas
• Ability to complete Bid-Writing, Nondisclosure Agreements and Contracts

In addition, applicants will have to prove automatic right to work in the UK, whilst holding or be eligible to obtain a UK security clearance.
