The USP operations team is expanding and we are now looking recruit a new logistics coordinator.

We are on the lookout for an individual who wants to get involved and make an impact on the success of our business.

We are looking for a logistics coordinator who is passionate, driven and eager to succeed in the Steel Industry and to become an integral part of the USP family.

Hours required will be 10:00 - 18:30 Monday to Thursday and 10:00 - 16:30 on a Friday.

Job Specification for Logistics Coordinator:


Requirements:

• Manages the transport of Goods In / Out transport
• Working alongside onsite Haulage company.
• Manages 3rd Party Haulage Company day to day / primary contact for them.
• Communicates and reports to all teams with amendments / ETA's changes / Delays
• Primary contact for commercial teams for vehicle tracking
• Builds and manages despatches and loads on USP Business system.
• Ensuring documentation is accurate and issued to picking and loading teams.
• Works to resolve transport disputes representing USP
• Reports to Ops Manager

Approx.

37.5 hours per week Monday - Friday, 25 days holidays per year plus national UK holidays, career progression, training and courses available, on-site parking.

Salary Negotiable but will be dependent on experience and skills.
