Shire Healthcare is currently sourcing a Speech and Language Therapist for one of our clients based in Hampshire.

The successful Speech and Language Therapist will support children and young people aged 0-16 within a specialist educational setting in Yateley and a clinic based in Walton-on-Thames, Surrey.

The children and young people present with Autistic Spectrum Disorder, Sensory Processing Disorder, Speech and Language delays/disorders, Dyspraxia, Cerebral Palsy Dyslexia, global developmental delay or neurological disorders.

This is a full-time, permanent position although our client can consider part-time applicants. There are options available for 45-week, 52-week and term-time only contracts.

Hours can be flexible: 8:30am-4:30pm, 8am-4pm or 7:30am-3pm.


The role:

  • Managing, supporting and supervising members of the Speech and Language Therapy team
  • Completing assessments using both standardised and nonstandardised assessment tools
  • Working as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Service development involvement
  • Managing a clinical caseload

The ideal Occupational Therapist:

  • Holds a relevant Degree/Diploma in Speech and Language Therapy
  • HCPC registered
  • Experience of supporting a similar client group previously
