Description

We are pleased to inform you of a new role that we are working on for one of our clients:

Position:
HR Business Partner

Salary:
£50,000 - £60,000

Location:
Remote (but with some travel requirements)

What's the background?
One of the country's challenger energy companies has been experiencing a period of significant growth.

As can often happen to an organisation that experiences exponential growth, the foundations of solid systems and processes have fallen down the prioritylist and somewhat overlooked.

Whilst continuing their growth plans, projects teams are popping up to implement and instil some best practices to ensure the foundations are stable for further growth.

Pre-COVID, the business had a stalwart approach with their call centre being based at Head Office. With the need to adapt operationally during the pandemic the mindset shifted and call centre agents worked remotely.

The next evolution of this is the creationof hubs around the UK that will focus on different stages of the customer journey.

This is initially a 12 month FTC but, with a number of changes planned within the HR team, there is a strong likelihood of a permanent contract, especially if you show them how indispensable you are

Responsibilities:

An experienced HRBP is required to help through the set-up and teething phases of these hub openings.

The first was recently opened in East Lancashire, a second, just over the Scottish border, is due for launch in March, and a third planned for the end of2023.

Whilst this can be deemed a remote-based role, there would be travel required to these sites as well as a monthly HR meet-up in London.

It would be down to the individual to determine how often they need to be present at each of the hubs.

It will be your responsibility to partner with the Call Centre teams through the setting up of these hubs to ensure that all aspects of the employee journey are planned for.

You will link in with the wider HR teams such as recruitment and L&D to ensure thatnot only are the right profile of person being recruited but that they have had sufficient training to succeed in what can sometimes be very difficult and in-depth customer calls.

You will play a pivotal role and be the glue that binds all individual aspects together to ensure the Call Centre teams get up and running as smoothly and effectively as possible, ensuring they deliver the expected results.

As such you will have a wide setof skills in your armoury. You'll need to be a highly effective communicator and influencer.

You'll need solid organisational and project management skills to keep on top of everything, and you'll be a strategic thinker who is in tune with the operationalneeds of the business but then knows how to deliver too.

Experience needed:

Previous experience of call centre operations would be fantastic as you'll understand the nuances of such environments.

However, this isn't imperative as it's more important that you're someone who understands the true business partnering model and how tobe effective in this type of role.

So, previous experience as a HR Business Partner in a fast-paced environment is the essential bit.

You'll be someone who has a broad understands of the employee lifecycle, has good project management and superb stakeholder management skills.

You'll need to be a resilient soul, but someone who turns up with a smile on their face each day.

Ability to travelis a pre-requisite given the distance between the hubs.

Benefits:

  • Remote working
  • The salary is up to £60,000
  • 25 days annual leave
  • Hours 5, Mon-Fri (although flexible)
  • General Life Insurance up to 4 x your salary
