Are you looking for a new challenge and an exciting opportunity to join and help develop, brand and build a new spa?


This is an incredibly exciting time to jump onboard The Secret Garden Spa as it is based in the Jubilee Hotel a 77-bedroom hotel on Weymouth's seafront.

Brand new to 2023 the spa has 3 treatment rooms, a double nail room, and a hot tub and sauna garden.

But we are not done yet, we will be continuing to develop and expand and look to open a gym in the future and refurbish some of our hotel rooms into wellness suites and tap the hotel more into the wellness industry.


We have hardly dipped our toe into the market and opened with a basic menu, which has so far proved popular with our hotel guests, but we are looking for some new beauty therapists with a minimum of a level 2 NVQ who can support the new spa manager in launching the spa to the locals.


We are looking for passionate, friendly beauty therapists with great customer skills and a hunger for personal development who can help elevate and promote The Secret Garden Spa Brand.

This is a rare opportunity to come in from the beginning and help create the team and gain extra development opportunities and have input in choosing our stock, creating our menus and developing our treatments.


We can offer a variant of work schedules from part time, full time, permanent, fixed term or even zero hours.

For those who would like full time hours you may be required to assist in other areas of the hotel during quiet periods so that we can sustain your hours.

As the spa business grows we hope this will be less needed. We can assess this around your own skills and passions.

Your main responsibilities will include-

  • Keeping the spa maintained and clean.
  • Assisting with our branding and marketing by capturing regular photo and video content.
  • Assisting your team in hitting targets and keep within budgets.
  • Helping maintain relationships with Suppliers.
  • Assisting placing orders, keeping wastage down, doing stock takes.
  • Keep our reservations system UpToDate.
  • Promote a positive work culture.
  • Ensure all cash, opening/closing, purchase order and petty cash procedures are always adhered to.
  • Provide accurate reports.
  • Maintain high standards of quality control, hygiene, and H&S and assist with all legal compliance.
  • Having a good command of the packages and treatments on offer.
  • Carrying out daily beauty treatments to a high standard.
  • Providing excellent customer service
  • Adhering to spa policies and procedures.
  • Handling customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally.
  • Motivating for morale and for sales.
  • Kind and respectful with a positive attitude.

  • A good understanding of Epos, and IT solutions.
