Description
We are looking for a Payroll Specialist to join the Hymans Robertson team in Glasgow.
As a Payroll Specialist, you will be a focused individual who can work effectively as part of a team as well as possessing the ability to use your own initiative when required, you will have strong organisation skills with the ability to prioritise tasks.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Processing of endtoend monthly payroll
- Assisting with calculation and submission of monthly and tax year end PAYE to HMRC
- Processing payroll benefits
- Dealing with questions, queries, and requests in relation to payroll, pensions, and benefits
- Ensuring adherence to processes, procedures & controls
- Building relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Month end reporting
- Cover and ability to deputise for the Payroll Manager
Skills & Experience:
- CIPP qualification desirable
- Practical payroll experience ability to explain PAYE and calculations
- RTI and autoenrolment exposure
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient user of payroll systems
- Problem Solving
- System improvements
- Proficiency in Microsoft excel essential
- Experience of Access People XD advantageous
