Applications are sought from highly motivated individuals looking for a new opportunity to join NHS Forth Valley's Podiatry service.
- The Podiatry Service aims to deliver high-quality care to patients and their carers through the provision of triage, assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for various conditions and patient types in different settings.
- The service is patient-centered and needs-led, with clinical assessment and diagnosis guiding tailored management plans for individual patients.
- There is a focus on rehabilitation, including a self-care element in treatment plans where suitable.
- The PREPARE Trainee post, employed on an Annex 21 basis, represents NHS Forth Valley's innovative approach to enhancing access to adult learners and those unable to relocate or leave full-time employment for learning opportunities.
- The PREPARE Trainee will participate in academic requirements and on-campus delivery up to three days a week, with the remaining two days integrated into the Podiatry team during term time. During non-term time, trainees will be part of the team five days a week.
- This role offers vocational field employment, providing exposure to service requirements and patient care to enhance knowledge and skills.
