We are recruiting for a Year 2 Teaching Assistant to start immediately in Slough.

Are you passionate about children & Teaching? Looking to support children as a Teaching Assistant?


We are working with a fantastic primary school in Slough who is looking for a Year 2 Teaching Assistant to support a child with ASD.

The role will be a full time position from Monday to Friday, 8:30 to 3.30pm. Within this role as a Teaching Assistant youwill be required to support a year 2 child with ASD.


You do not need previous experience within a school setting as an SEN Teaching Assistant but you will have had previous experience as a Teaching Assistant supporting children where a reference can be provided.


The Role:


  • Teaching Assistant to support children with ASD
  • Preparing the classroom for lessons and tidying it up afterwards as a Teaching Assistant
  • Support the teacher in class with preparing lessons and resources
  • Work across the classroom working 121 with pupils who need extra support with set activities

The School:


  • The school engage in a curriculum which will encourage problem solving, critical reflection, research and challenge
  • Ensure every student leaves school confident in their ability to succeed and able to successfully access the world of work or further/higher education
  • Local to bus and train stations

Requirements:


  • Available immediately & Monday to Friday
  • Schoolbased experience as a Teaching Assistant
  • You ideally have previous experience as an SEN Teaching Assistant
  • Live in Slough or within a commutable distance

Pay rate is dependent on qualifications, experience and skills.
