As a Barclays Model Risk Engagement Delivery Support, you will primarily be accountable for assisting the Engagement Delivery Lead to manage the Book of Work, including management of the MRM Horizon Scanning process and MRM training program, and maintenance of key engagement deliverables including the governance structure, roadmap and associated actions logs.

For this role, you will also assist with the coordination of key engagement artefacts, such as the Horizontal Risk Management Approach and MRM newsletters.

Working Flexibly

What will you be doing?:

Backing the delivery of the Model Risk Training program (coordination, tracking of training requirements and associated plan and maintenance of training templates)
Assisting in the delivery of the Model Risk Horizon Scanning Forum including maintaining the Horizon Scanning Tracker to capture key themes, emerging risks, and live issues
Maintaining the MRM governance structure, including all Vertical/Horizontal meetings where Model Risk is discussed
Managing the annual MRM roadmap of key deliverables across the governance and controls team, including BAU and other strategic deliverables
Handling the Action Logs associated with the MRM governance structure, and tracking actions through to closure, escalating risks, issues and challenges where required
Providing assistance in the coordination and content production of key engagement artefacts, such as the Horizontal Risk Management Approach and MRM newsletters

What we're looking for:

Involvement in operating within a Risk and/or Control environment
Experience of operating within a reporting and/or governance environment
Ability to effectively review, synthesise and interrogate data/information
Capacity to execute quality assurance on documentation

Skills that will help you in the role:

Ability of operating within a governance and/or reporting role
Familiarity with Model Risk Management frameworks
Knowledge of Control Framework
