Furniture CAD Draughtsperson
We are currently seeking an enthusiastic CAD draughtsperson to join our skilled team. The role is collaborative and there is a good opportunity for progression within the company.


Key tasks and responsibilities

• Production of detailed construction drawings for manufacture.
• Liaising with a variety of suppliers to create an accurate BOM.
• Effective communication with clients, fellow team members and suppliers.
• Good telephone manner and information sharing.
• Attend site visits and surveys.

Skills and experience

• An education and / or experience in furniture construction or an engineering discipline, although other backgrounds will be considered.
• Ideally 2 years' experience working in a bespoke construction/ manufacturing industry in a related role.
• Competent drawing in 3D CAD software, with evident ability to produce concise & coherent technical drawings.
• A solid technical understanding of joinery, current manufacturing processes, modern materials and fittings would be desirable.
• Making skills would be held in high regard, as would experience designing metalwork.

You would be working alongside a highly motivated team and will be supported by the project leaders to learn & develop your skills.

This is a full-time position working with a salary between £30k - £40k depending on your skills and experience.
