I am working alongside a very client-focused Domiciliary care company who are looking to hire their next Registered Manager.

This company has seen a lot of success at their Colchester branch and are in a position to expand their services and will be operatingin Ipswich from April 2023 onward.


The Role:


  • A key part of the role as the Registered Manager will be to monitor the hours of care being provided and to grow those hours of care with local authority and private funded clients
  • Working with Suffolk County Council
  • Providing the daytoday management of the current 12 care staff
  • Developing relationships with the clients' next of kin to talk them through the bespoke care packages on offer and how the carers will be supporting the client to live independently
  • Be responsible for rota planning and scheduling
  • Passionate that the company continues to be very focused on their caring and friendly approach to care
  • Ambitious to see the company grow and provide Supported living services in the future

Registered Manager Duties:


  • Identify new business development opportunities using your network and previous experience
  • Carry out a full assessment on new service users and identify the care required
  • Devise a bespoke personal centered care package for each client
  • Train relevant staff on how to implement the care plan
  • Train new staff and provide ongoing supervision and support
  • Ensure that sufficient staff are recruited to meet the service demand and plans for growth
  • Strive to develop and deliver care of the highest possible standard
  • Undertake scheduled spot checks and service reviews
  • Experience having worked as a Registered Manager in a Domiciliary/Supported living care setting
  • Experienced in line managing large groups of staff
  • Demonstrate an excellent knowledge of CQC Standards and Key Lines of Enquiryideally having achieved 'Good' previously as a Registered Manager
  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care
    (Not compulsory)
