About the role:

We are currently seeking a Skilled Labourer in the Solihull area to assist with both planned and reactive gutter maintenance works in both domestic and commercial settings.

The successful applicant will be working in a team of 2, Most of the work will be in and working on contracts across Birmingham, Coventry, Leicester and Home Counties area, however there will be occasions where you will be working out of area within the UK and will be required to work away from home with overnight hotel stays.

You will be working mobile, alongside one of our team leaders, carrying out reactive and planned maintenance works,

The works will be varied in nature and will require both speed and precision.

Working Hours: Mon-Fri 08.00am to 4:30pm excluding Travelling Time, occasional Saturday overtime.

You must be reliable, trustworthy, have a 'can-do' attitude, comfortable working at height on ladders, scaffold and cherry pickers, excellent communication skills and fantastic attention to detail.

This is a full time employed position, 28 days paid holiday, (including bank holidays), overnight food allowance, and optional Saturday overtime.

Duties will include:

Emptying and repairing commercial and residential guttering.

We give full training and provide all tools needed.

Applicants MUST have a full clean UK driving licence and basic knowledge of power tools.

Applicants must also be able to sometimes stay away from home as we carry out works nationwide, when this is necessary.

UK Driving license
Phone literate and can use a job sheet system to communicate job status and completion
Labouring experience
Please note that this role require an enhanced DBS Check.

Salary:

starting at £22,000.00 plus overtimes raising to £23,000.00 plus overtime after completion of training period to a satisfactory level.
