Job summary

We are currently working with a variety of Care/ Nursing homes in west Yorkshire and looking to recruit a skilled kitchen assistant with adequate experience especially working with chefs to join our team.

The kitchen assistant must adhere to all fluid & nutrition regulations, The work environment (kitchen) must be clean and tidy, and all kitchen utensils must be used properly while maintaining the regulatory standards.

key responsibilities

Assist the head chef with meal preparation and cooking duties.
Washing & Cleaning kitchen & toiletries.
Organizing and preparing food ingredients.
Taking directions from chefs upon request.
Perform other duties as assigned by the head chef.

Qualifications:

DBS
Previous experience in a kitchen environment preferred.
Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Minimum of 6 months experience in UK.

Job Types:
Full-time, Part-time, Temporary contract

Contract length: 30 months

Salary:
£10.50-£11.68 per hour
