Technical Metals are leading Aluminium Finishers offering customers a wide range of Anodising and Surface preparation processes.

-These include CNC Machining, Clear, Black, Bright and Half Bright Anodising, Bead blasting, Buffing, Polishing, Linishing and Clear Chem treatment.

Technical Metals manufactures niche components and systems for the aerospace and defence sector.

Due to ongoing expansion, we are looking for a Quality Inspector with Aerospace Manufacturing experience to join our team in Newtownards to add to our team working with global Aerospace sector clients.

What is on offer?

As Technical Metal's Quality Inspector you will ensure the Quality Management System is maintained and developed to the highest level to ensure compliance with prevailing Aerospace standards and customer audit requirements.

You will be expected to lead by example and help the wider business to deliver a consistent service to the Manufacturing and Finishing departments in Technical Metals and its customers, ensuring the production plan is adhered to.

We want to find a strong individual to help us continue to develop and improve our quality standards, providing impetus and ambition in implementing new, more efficient, and effective ways to ensure our continued compliance and improvement.

Responsibilities:

Defining the company Quality Management System within the operational levels to ensure all areas of the business are working to QMS requirements.
Ensuring the Quality Management System is managed, maintained, and developed to the highest service and costeffective level.
Minimising third party nonconformances and audit failures (e.g., AS9100) to ensure that any issues are closed out to agreed timescales.
Ensuring internal and external audits are completed to customer requirements, EFQM standards and AS9100.
An approachable manner and able to communicate effectively at all levels internally and externally.
Strong inter personnel and relationship building abilities.
