To help us to provide the very best service, we are looking for an
Internal Auditor to join our Compliance department.
Role Purpose
In line with FCA regulations, Call Assist Limited is committed to maintaining efficient and effective audit functions to evaluate and contribute to the improvement of risk management, control and the quality of operational and technical processes used by the Company.
Reporting to Head of Governance but as part of the Compliance team, the audit function provides independent, objective, timely and useful information to management to ensure the Company provides services that meet the needs of our customers and can deliver these in an efficient manner.

Key Tasks
Responsibilities includes:
- Review Annual audit plan in conjunction with the Compliance Department
- Regular monthly auditing of key areas such as claims, complaints handling, subcontractors, regulatory procedures etc
- Organising and conducting adhoc audits as may be required.
- Identifying and reporting trends to compliance and senior management
- Communication with Managers where trends are identified
- Communication with relevant departments where issues may affect the fair treatment of customers
- Working with compliance and relevant departments to progress improvements where necessary
- Reporting initially to the Head of Governance on both risks identified in the audit and progress of any mitigation measures being undertaken as a result
Key Skills:
- Knowledge of internal audit procedures
- Regulatory risk awareness
- Attention to detail and good organisational skills
- Good analytical skills
- Basic knowledge of insurance broking
- Good understanding of FCA regulations
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Experience providing assurance and feedback to senior management that reflects the needs of the organisation
