The Role:
We are looking to appoint an experienced Site Administrator for a 12-month full time fixed-term contract based in Mackay. This role will oversee the general administration of the Mackay business.
Reporting to the Department Manager your responsibilities will include (but not limited to):
- Accounts Payable processing including raising and updating purchase orders and goods receipting
- Vendor maintenance
- Processing end of month requirements including but not limited to generating and processing sales invoices, maintaining pricing in Mandalay, interfacing into JDE, stock reconciliations and cost tracking
- Ensure compliance with all procurement policies and procedures
- Maintain subcontractor register to ensure compliance with required legislation
- Liaise with customers, suppliers, employees and public, ensuring positive interactions and outcomes
- Monitoring site entry access and sign in requirements
- Data entry
- General Administrative duties
Let's Connect:
You will have previous experience in an administrative capacity, in a construction or maintenance site based environment. In addition we seek someone with the following skills and experience
- A positive can do attitude
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel. JDE experience also preferred but not essential.
- Previous experience in site administration or a similar role
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Ability to priorities tasks and display initiative
