Description

The Audit and Risk Recruitment Company are recruiting for a Senior Internal Audit Manager role for a FTSE 250 software and engineering business in the defence sector.

This is a newly created role within the business with great visibility to senior stakeholders and the opportunity to deputise for the Head of Internal Audit.

This is a key role within the team, responsible for the delivery of risk-based, operational andfinancial audits while assisting with assurance activities.

Experience Requirements:

ACA, ACCA, CIA Qualified or equivalent.
Strong internal audit and accountancy background; ideally Big 4 or Top 10.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Attention to detail with strong analytic and organisational skills with the ability to see the 'big picture'.
Excellent understanding of internal audit methodology and risk and controls. You will be able to articulate this to nonaudit professionals.
