Our organisation focuses on delivering impactful mental health programmes to schools, community centres, and organisations, to reach and support as many young individuals as possible.


Position Overview:

The Be Free Campaign is seeking an enthusiastic and results-oriented Fundraising Officer to join our team.

This part-time position (12 hours per week) involves a combination of supporting fundraising campaigns, donor interaction, and administrative tasks to help the charity achieve its financial goals and mission.


Key Responsibilities:


Fundraising Support:


  • Assist in developing and executing fundraising campaigns across various channels (e.g., online, direct mail, events).
  • Maintain accurate and uptodate donor records within the charity's CRM system.
  • Process donations promptly and ensure donors are thanked appropriately.
  • Conduct prospect research to identify potential new donors and funding sources.
  • Assist with the planning and execution of fundraising events (both directly and by supporting the organization of others).

Donor Relations:


  • Build strong relationships with donors through excellent communication and stewardship.
  • Respond to donor inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Create and distribute donor newsletters and other communications.

Administrative:


  • Support the Fundraising Manager with budget tracking and financial reporting.
  • Assist with the creation of marketing and fundraising materials.

Qualifications:


  • Experience in fundraising, sales, or a customerfacing role is highly desirable.
  • A passion for the Be Free Campaign's mission and commitment to mental health advocacy.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and basic understanding of CRM systems.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a teamoriented environment

Job Type:
Part-time


Salary:
£10.42-£12.00 per hour
