Senior Occupational Therapist Band 6

Start Date: 1/12/22

End Date: 01/04/22

Working Hours: 8:00 - 16:00 / Part-time

Pay Rate:
£33,706 to £40,588 a year pro rata

The Client is a specialist mental health trust providing a range of services to people across Sandwell, Dudley, Walsall and Wolverhampton.

About the role:

This role will be diverse and exciting, the needs of the service mean that the post holder must be able to work flexibly to provide OT across the Black Country.

The role offers a wide variety of opportunities to develop and extend your skills. We offer a commitment to support staff, regular supervision and CPD from our band 7 advanced practitioner Occupational Therapist.

Skills Required:

Diploma or Degree in Occupational Therapy
Evidence of registration with the HCPC
Post graduate training relevant to Learning Disability / mental health
Use of a range of assessment tools to plan treatment and support recovery
Evidence of managing caseloads with adults with Learning Disability / mental health problems
Experience of working in an in-patient setting
Significant experience of supervising junior staff and of being a Placement Educator
