Description

The role of a Systems and Project Accountant is to provide a direct link between Finance and Digital Services in the attainment of automation within Finance and the continual improvement of all processes, whether manual or automated.

You must have an accounting qualification in order to understand the financial requirement and controls required for the business.

Work collaboratively with FD in implementing the automation plan for Finance.
Provision of management information and analytics on business defined metrics.
Identification of manual tasks and their removal by use of systems processes, presenting via business case and feasibility studies.
Continuous improvement leader
To provide advice and guidance to other areas of the business assisting with automation, including but not limited to, Digital Services and Analytics during the development of solutions.
To participate in the review of solutions throughout each project in order to ensure fitness for purpose.
To be the Lead on Planning Analytics and Financial Force configuration and reporting
To identify and implement standard Financial Force functionality not yet in place.
To assist with the preparation of product documentation, including User Guides and Impact Analysis information.
To develop Consolidated accounting models
To work with the training department to provide/product internal training
Assist and cover Finance Business Partners as required
