Bristol City Council's Housing & Landlord Services are currently recruiting a Plumbing Trade Supervisor to join our Responsive Repairs team.

The Response Repairs Team focuses on delivering high quality, cost effective responsive repairs to a large variety of properties amongst our 28000 homes.


The role involves the supervision of team of gas and plumbing operatives, surveyors and contractors providing responsive repairs in council owned dwellings.

You will maintain day-to-day management and development of staff under the direction of the Area Trade Manager.

You will also be responsible for ensuring a high quality of service, getting work done 'right first time' and achieving high customer satisfaction whilst staying within budgetary targets providing a cost effective, value for money service.


You will hold a relevant ACS Gas qualification, Plumbing NVQ Level 2 or 3 and extensive professional trade experience in plumbing & drainage.

You will also hold a full driving licence.

The post requires a moderate level of fluency.

You must have the ability to converse with citizens and provide complex information in accurate spoken English, or through a BSL interpreter.
