Purchase Ledger / Finance Assistant

£24,000 to £26,000

Plymouth
This is a new role for our rapidly growing client based in the Plymouth area. Ideally you will be an experienced Purchase Ledger person to join our finance team. This role will be predominately PL work but will be assisting in day to day finance duties.

Responsibilities of the Purchase Ledger / Finance Assistant:

  • Processing around 100 supplier invoices per day
  • Matching invoices to delivery notes
  • Investigate and resolve PL invoice queries
  • Liaising with internal and external customers
  • Process / Budget analysis and coding of expenses and receipts
  • Reconcile Supplier statements
  • Assist with weekly payment runs
  • Assist with credit control when required
Skills required for the Purchase Ledger / Finance Assistant:

  • Knowledge of SageLine 50 advantageous
  • Accurate with good attention to detail
  • Strong numeracy skills
  • Willing to learn new IT systems and processes
  • Able to work under pressure
Mon to Fri, 21 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays, Pension, weekly company lunch, free on site parking and located near to public transport
