Key Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive energy assessments of residential buildings, considering their thermal performance, energy usage, and building envelope characteristics.
- Utilize your expertise in Building Physics to analyze heat transfer, ventilation, and thermal comfort to identify potential areas for energy efficiency improvements.
- Evaluate and interpret building energy data, such as heating, cooling, and electricity consumption, to create detailed reports and recommend effective retrofit solutions.
- Collaborate with clients, architects, coordinators, and other stakeholders to develop tailored retrofit plans that align with energysaving goals and comply with building regulations.
- Stay uptodate with the latest advancements in building materials, technologies, and energyefficient practices to ensure the implementation of cuttingedge solutions.
- Provide expert advice and guidance on retrofit measures, including insulation, glazing, heating systems, and renewable energy options.
- Conduct onsite inspections to verify the implementation and effectiveness of recommended retrofit solutions.
- Keep accurate records and documentation of assessments, findings, and recommendations.
Requirements:
- Domestic Energy assesor accreditation / Retrofit accreditation.
- 95% AUDIT Success Rates Proven Through your current accreditation.
- Proven experience as a Retrofit Assessor or similar role with a focus on energy efficiency and sustainable building practices.
- Deep understanding of Building Physics principles, including heat transfer, energy performance, and ventilation strategies.
- Familiarity with energy modeling software and tools to simulate building performance and evaluate retrofit scenarios.
- Excellent analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex data to drive decisionmaking.
- Selfmotivated, proactive, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
