Cyber Security Manager - £ £47000 Depending on Experience

The Opportunity

Yolk Recruitment Public Sector & Not-for-Profit team has partnered with a highly important Civil Service Organisation who are developing their newest digital service.

We are helping them recruit an experienced Cyber Security Manager who can utilise their knowledge of the current Cyber Security landscape to identify and prevent threats.

What the Cyber Security Manager will be doing
You will work to improve the efficiency of internal projects related to security. You will achieve this through the effective leadership of Cyber Security teams in a variety of scopes.

You will mobilise project teams, and outline the processes to follow
Be responsible for the overarching performance of the cybersecurity team
Be the key point of contact for sensitive information relating to security
At an organisational level orchestrate incident response and management
Become the SME for Cyber Security

What the successful Cyber Security Manager will bring to the team

You will have at least 3 years of relevant Cyber Security working experience, including a knowledge of Information security, Architecture, implementation and risk management.

Project Management and Line Management skills
In depth knowledge of Cyber Security, and up to date trends
SIEM tooling knowledge
McAffee Suite experience
Ability to liaise with internal and external third parties
