We have a current opportunity for a Electrician - Maintenance Social Housing on a permanent basis. The position will be based in the Sheffield area. For further information about this position please apply.

Electrician

Reporting to the Repairs Field Manager, the Electrician will undertake all aspects of Electrical works including Responsive Repairs, Testing and Inspection and Installation on Day to day, Void and Planned maintenance on all property types within the portfolioof Responsive Maintenance and Improvement works.

QUALIFICATIONS & PROFESSIONAL MEMBERSHIPS:

NVQ Level 3 or Equivalent in Electrical Installation (Buildings and Structures)
C&G Requirements for Electrical Installations 18th Edition
C&G 2391 Electrical Inspection and Testing or equivalent
Qualified to minimum GCSE grade C or equivalent in English and maths

EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:

A full driving licence
Experience of completing Electrical Installation Condition Reports on Domestic Premises
An understanding of Responsive Maintenance preferably within the Social housing Sector
Knowledge of construction Health, safety and Welfare legislation
Use of full range of Microsoft Office
