We are looking for an
Emerging Talent Scout who will support in identifying and recruiting the best youth players.

In this role, you will oversee and plan the processes within the age group bracket of U1- U17 to support our wider scouting strategy.

Your day-to-day

Via the scouting strategy, to support the Emerging Talent Coordinator and the team in identifying and recruiting the best youth players. To plan and action weekly player reports, assess players and create shadow squads withing rh age group bracket U16-U17 whilst providing reporting covering for the U16-U17 age group.
Scout and recommend prospective target players for U16-U17 age group and provide support for U15 player identification via live or video scouting.
Ensure reporting coverage of U18 players across UK & International markets
Contribute to live succession planning documents in line with stakeholder requirements to ensure up to date insights.
Conduct in depth research into leagues and identified players and keep up to date with industry awareness.
Produce detailed player reports to support the identification and crosschecking of domestic and when required, international talent.
Recommend squad planning approach and visualisation from U16-U17 age groups

What we are looking for

Minimum of FA Level 4 Talent ID Certificate (Desirable)
Someone who has experience working within a recruitment role in a professional football club.
Someone who has extensive and current knowledge of the Emerging Talent market.
Extensive knowledge and experience of the football industry, rules and regulations, governing bodies and recruitment landscape within it
Previous scouting and/or robust player analysis experience within an elite environment (Essential)
Possess a wellestablished and wide network of club, scouting and intermediary contacts to support the identification of valuable market opportunities and to provide the capacity to gather important intelligence quickly
Proven and demonstratable track record of accurate identification of elite talents before they established themselves at the highest level.
