The role


This is an exciting opportunity for someone who has previous experience of working within the community, is hardworking and shares our passion for improving the life chances of our young people.

You will be responsible for supporting the Academy's commitment to improve attendance through understanding its barriers and implementing attendance strategies.

You will also maintain, analyse and provide reports of attendance data, you will be actively engaging with students, parents/carers and the wider community as well as deliver the enforcement measures.

This is a full time role to be carried out during term time plus additional two weeks.


The person we are looking for:

  • has good communication skills across a range of audiences
- is able to manage, analyse and interpret data
- has ability to prepare and write reports and produce factual and statistical information as required
- can liaise and negotiate effectively with a range of parents, families, Academy staff and external agencies
- is able to maintain professional manner in challenging situations
- can conduct home visits
- is able to understand and relate to young people
- demonstrates good ICT skills to support administration
- has emotional resilience in working with challenging behaviours and attitudes
- establishes and maintains strong relationships, using excellent interpersonal skills
- is passionate and committed to making a difference in the lives of our pupils and their communities
- is willing to model and support the Oasis ethos
