We're currently seeking motivated, committed and forward thinking individuals to undertake key roles at the NHSBT.Our dedicated team collects, tests, stores and delivers blood, plasma and tissue to every NHS Trust in England and North Wales, as well as matching, allocating and analysing organ donations UK-wide.
As an essential service we're committed to positive transformation and are currently embarking on an ambitious programme of change.
Working closely with the Planning Manager, you will contribute to the entire Blood and CD Platelet programme planning in a specific area for mobile teams and Donor Centres, focussing on planning and implementing activities and initiatives to improve regional performance and deliver key objectives.
You'll undertake a range of tasks to support his work, including booking session venues, maintaining accurate data and preparing reports, and liaising with colleagues and contacts.
You'll also participate in regional programme management and get involved with improvement initiatives, ensuring that you consistently embed best practice in all areas of planning work.

- You will be key to the successful planning of blood donation for mobile teams and Donor Centres within your geographical region.
- You will be responsible for arranging appointment schedules for donors to take place at the right place and time to maximise blood donation and deliver donor loyalty.
- You will be required to maintain accurate data regarding blood donation, venues, sessions, and appointment bookings.
- You will be responsible for booking session venues and maintaining relationships with venue contacts.
- You will be required to prepare performance data for weekly reports.
About You
Experience and Knowledge
- Experience of working in an office environment
- Knowledge of organising and prioritising a busy and varied workload
Qualifications and Training
- Educated to A level standard, NVQ Level 4 or equivalent experience
- Demonstrate commitment to own Continued Professional Development (CPD)
