At West Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust we are committed to ensuring that the mental health needs of patients are understood and supported when receiving care within our services.

We recognise that in order to enable staff to provide care for people who have additional complex mental health needs there is a need to enhance the specialism within our services to include additional mental health professionals within our workforce.


At the West Suffolk Hospital, we work collaboratively with others as part of the West Suffolk Alliance and you will use system wide approach to be able to meet the needs of the child/young person.

This role is one that you will be able to develop with support from the Head of Mental Health who is also based at the hospital.

A QI approach will be used to evidence this.
