Description

We are looking for a motivated, passionate and assertive individual to join our dynamic People Participation team, who believes the voice of the service user and carer should be at the forefront of the recovery process and is committed to delivering a high quality service involving full co-production processes.


Applicants should have a keen interest in service improvement and in supporting and facilitating positive developments, be an effective communicator and be able to work proactively, as part of your local team and also as part of the wider Trust team.

You will need to be adept at relationship building with a diverse range of people from across the service and externally and will be able to create and maintain an encouraging and understanding environment for the team of service users and carers.

You should have good organisational skills and be able to manage a varying workload efficiently.

We would ideally like to welcome someone to this post who has lived experience of a mental health condition, has used our mental health services, or cares for somebody who does.

The post holder will work strategically across the locality in order to develop and implement a strategy
that supports the broad participation agenda. They will project manage a variety of work streams that
underpin the locality participation agenda, ensuring that practice in each locality is coordinated and
supports and responds to the Trust's corporate social inclusion strategies.
