A specialist care provider is seeking a Service Manager to manage their residential service in Lincolnshire which provides support for people with learning disabilities, Autism and complex needs.

The accommodation for this service is self-contained, creating the sense of calm which is essential to help people with complex needs to reach their full potential.

By focusing on the needs of the individual, the service will ensure that people who reside inthe service get the best quality care and staff also receive the best quality support and training.


Responsibilities of Service Manager:


  • Manage relationships with relevant stakeholders, professionals and partners within their locality, and will represent the organisation at a local level as and when appropriate.
  • The Service Manager will oversee performance measurement systems and ensure that their service meets all the relevant quality and monitoring systems, including internal QA, CQC inspections and local authority audits.
  • To develop and maintain close communications with all members of the Regional and inservice team, to ensure the maximum flow of information, understanding and ideas.

Key Skills/Requirements:


  • Relevant degree, diploma, or recognised professional qualification or appropriate experience.
  • Qualification in Management
  • A willingness to undertake appropriate training.
  • Awareness of learning disability issues, including funding environment and government policy, with a detailed knowledge of the needs of service users and carers.
  • Proven experience in managing occupancy.
  • Proven experience of liaising with a wide range of stakeholders.
