HGV Mechanic (Nights)

The role is primarily, but not limited to, the maintenance and servicing of our fleet of HGV's including MOT prep, repairs and dealing with breakdowns/punctures etc.

Additionally we operate a fleet of Road Planers and Sweepers and some of the work will involve on site and reactive repairs.

Based at our depot in Atherton M46, we are looking for someone who can work on their own initiative as well as part of a small team and can communicate effectively to diagnose and solve problems.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

• NVQ/City & Guilds in HGV Repair and Maintenance or equivalent
• Full Valid Driving licence
• C+E Licence is desirable

Rate of Pay - £22.50 per hour (Min 48 hrs per week - Additional hours available)

Due to expansion we are having a reorganisation of the workshops and whilst the role is primarily Mon-Fri Nights some Sunday days may be required however a suitable flexible Rota that fits all will be discussed
