We're not maintaining the status quo. We're rewriting it.

North Technology Group has been pushing the boundaries of performance since 1957 — from North Sails dominating ocean racing to Southern Spars engineering the world's most advanced carbon rigs. Our brands don't follow trends. They set them.

Now we're looking for a Software Engineer who thinks the same way.

This isn't a role for someone who wants to keep the lights on. We need a builder — someone who gets a genuine thrill from standing in front of a blank canvas and making something real. You'll be designing and delivering software that touches every corner of our global operations, working with a tight-knit, geographically distributed team of engineers who care deeply about doing things right.

What you'll actually be doing

You'll be taking ownership of backend systems from day one — architecting solutions, writing clean production code, and shipping things that matter. You'll collaborate on greenfield projects, tackle hard technical problems, and be part of shaping how we build software at NTG for years to come. Code reviews, performance optimization, and pushing quality standards aren't afterthoughts here — they're core to how we work.

You might be the one if...

You don't wait to be told what to build next. You have strong backend fundamentals and real experience shipping production software, but you're not precious about how you've always done things. You're genuinely curious about where AI-assisted development is heading and you want to be at the front of that wave, not watching it from the shore. You thrive in autonomous environments, communicate clearly across time zones, and you hold your own code to a high standard.

Comfort with OOP, solid CS foundations, and experience with version control and agile practices are all expected. A CS degree is a nice signal, but your portfolio of work speaks louder.
