Main purpose
Be responsible for ScribePro's marketing and communications activities to engage with new and existing users.


About ScribePro


We're at a very exciting stage of our development as a company, recently funded with a clear vision, and we are growing our team to help us achieve it.

Our first product, ScribePro Team, consists of a web portal and companion app. It is out in the marketplace and making in-roads in football and rugby, with customers including sports National Associations.

Our second product, ScribePro First Aid is nearing MVP release and we have engagement from some exciting potential customers, having tested at TRNSMT festival and the OVO Hydro.

We are a small, friendly team, spanning engineering, product, clinical, sales and marketing roles.

The role

This role will involve a exciting mix of the following responsibilities;

  • Use analytical tools and strategies like goal conversion rates and A/B testing strategies to improve our conversion rate on all digital platforms
  • Manage web content produced by colleagues, ensuring content is accurate, uptodate and adheres to the tone of voice and brand guidelines
  • Target specific audiences with engaging copy and designs to improve conversion rates
  • Work with design colleagues to create engaging graphics and imagery for multichannel campaigns
  • Manage social media audiences, engaging with and building the audience
  • Coordinate brainstorming meetings to bring new ideas for marketing campaigns
  • Liaise with external partners to ensure that objectives/deadlines are being achieved
  • Regularly review all content and digital platforms' performance and recommend areas for improvement and growth.

The technical stuff

Essential

  • Two years' experience working within a marketing/digital marketing position
  • Great at writing impactful content and knowing audiences
  • Impeccable spelling and grammar
  • Excellent copywriting skills
  • A confident communicator that can brief internal and external stakeholders
  • An enthusiastic team player, willing to pick up and run with whatever is thrown your way
  • Highly driven and focused on taking ownership of the delivery of targets
  • Prioritise projects, communicate progress, and deliver on time
  • Employ creativity while adhering to our style and brand guidelines
  • Keenness to learn and develop new skills
  • Responsive to feedback
  • Adapts quickly to procedural and technical changes
  • Selfmotivated

Desirable

  • Educated to degree level or qualifications in marketing, communications, copywriting or journalism
  • A bit of digital whizz, including website and CMS
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity and react quickly in an evolving and fast paced environment
  • Current experience of working with innovative and effective digital communications solutions, in a busy marketing environment
  • A proven ability to write compelling digital media content that engages and increases audiences
  • Experience of building and maintaining professional working relationships
  • Experience of using creative and editing software packages

Desirable platform experience

  • Social media
  • Content Management System (CMS)
  • Adobe (Photoshop, After Effects, Premier Pro, InDesign or Illustrator)
  • Google Analytics
  • Proficiency with relevant Microsoft software packages

What we offer

  • Full time, permanent (37.5hrs per week)
- £24,000-£30,000 per year, dependent on experience
