Description

As deputy team leader, you will be based in the Trauma and Orthopaedic theatres, where we have 15 surgeons who carry out a full range of elective and trauma procedures, ranging from primary arthroplasty to complex revisions as well as a fantastic sports medicine team.

We have close working relationships with reps, who provide regular training opportunities and clinical support for procedures.

As deputy team leader you will aid in ensuring theatre etiquette is always upheld, including the 5 Steps to Safer Surgery, keeping the theatres clean and tidy within the IPC guidance and supporting team members in performing their roles.

Ordering stock and implants needed to run theatre, you will be expected be compliant with trust mandatory training, report any accident, untoward incident or loss relating to staff, patients or visitors according to Trust policies, undertake in-service training relevant to the post and comply with Trust policies and procedures.
