Job description:

Delyn Metals is a leading scrap metal recycling company based near Holywell in North Wales.

With over 30 years experience in the waste industry, we offer customers an environmentally sound solution for recycling their scrap metal, and whats more we pay the best prices.

Our newly refurbished scrap metal processing facility is specially equipped to deal with all kinds of non-ferrous and ferrous scrap metal including copper, brass, stainless steel, aluminium, lead and many more.

We are currently recruiting for a HGV/Plant fitter assistant, to be based at our Talacre, Point of Ayre site.

Hours of work:
Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm with occasional weekend work available

Salary:
£NLW

Travel:
Some travel may be required to other sites.

Main Responsibilities:

Conduct all vehicle service and inspections
Carry out all daily and routine maintenance and repairs
Repair and replace any damaged or worn parts
Attend any breakdowns when required
Escalate any issues accordingly
Maintain a safe working environment
Carry out any additional tasks when requested by Supervisor
Previous experience in a similar role

- basic knowledge of vehicles\machinery and their repair, maintenance and servicing desirable but not essential

Desirable:
- uk driving licence
