Responsibilities of the Interim Financial Accountant will include:

Supporting the transformation as the Finance Business Services function is developed
Delivery of standard finance policies and processes across the Finance department, strengthening financial controls and optimising efficiencies
Provide input into the completion of statutory accounts and other compliance reporting
Ensure timely and effective delivery of External and Internal Audit requests across the Group
Testing of internal controls across the Group
Preparation of Balance Sheet reconciliations
Participate in the delivery of the monthend and yearend financial close processes ensuring that activities are performed accurately and on time

The successful Interim Financial Accountant will require the following skills and experience:

Part-Qualified / Qualified Accountant or QBE
Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships
Experience in reviewing and improving finance processes
Technical finance skills

This position can be worked fully remote if within a commutable distance from Bristol or Birmingham.
This role sits within IR35.
You are required to be eligible to work in the UK full time without restriction.
