Care of the Elderly is an area that is only expected to grow in the coming years and as such we are looking to recruit a dynamic and motivated workforce to help develop and improve the services we currently offer in the Trust.

This is a time of real excitement as we look to build a team that can work with our key stakeholders in developing new pathways.

This role in particular would focus on ward based elderly care, ensuring the best possible outcomes for patients whilst also contributing to improving mortality, patient experience, length of stay etc.

The main duties of the role would be to support and develop the elderly inpatient service, at Worthing Hospital.

Working with colleagues at our other sites in St Richards, Chichester, Princess Royal in Haywards Heath and the Royal Sussex County in Brighton.

Worthing has been nationally recognised as providing excellent elderly medicine pathways and we want to build upon our strengths and improve our performance in other areas to become nationally recognised as an all-round excellent care provider achieving the best outcome for our patients.
